Excerpt from The Lost Story.:
Many Christians are looking for and expecting the end-time move of the Spirit. The end-time move of the Spirit is a move of Christian maturity as spoken of in Ephesians 4. In this move we all who are “in the move” come to unity and maturity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God. We arise in sanctification in our souls in the full measure of the full stature of Jesus Christ. We work together in love as one body.
Many Christians are believing that if they only teach about baptisms in the Spirit and the laying on of hands and such truths, then the end-time move of the Spirit will come. They believe the rest of the body of Christ must simply come into their understanding of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and laying on of hands.
But scripture expressly states that these are not the doctrines of the mature. Rather, these are elementary doctrines in the principles of Christ that are milk for babies. These doctrines are not, nor ever will be, “strong meat for the mature”. Rather, “strong meat for the mature” is the eternal vision of Heaven revealed in the eternal whole counsel plan of God. Strong meat for the mature is seeing God give us Jesus saving us by His own eternal grace and purpose in Jesus before the world began; not according to our works.
The “temporal track” is according to our works in and of ourselves in time on earth in flesh as human beings. The “eternal track” is to seek to see the Divine Love and Glory of God the Father shining in the face of Jesus in full glory of revelation. When we “get off the temporal track” and “get on the eternal track”, we are truly striving for maturity and perfection by grace through faith in Jesus alone.
As Paul taught in Galatians 3 and 2 Corinthians 3, looking to Jesus is the path of Christian maturity whereby we are changed and transformed into His image from glory to glory.
Strong meat for the mature is the level of revelation that causes us to see Jesus Christ alone, not ourselves or our works, by grace through faith alone in the eternal whole counsel plan of God in Heaven. Strong meat for the mature that causes us to see Jesus alone will empower us to then see who we are in Christ as we reflect His image.
The reality hidden in God in Christ from the foundation of the world and in Heaven, revealed by the Holy Spirit through the Word, will reveal the face of Jesus shining in the full Light of His glory.
We would do well to stop looking at the things which are seen as if they have weight of glory. That which is unseen from which things that appear were made is reality in Christ. The things which are seen are temporal. But things which are unseen are eternal with a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
Some Christians who focus on baptism in the Holy Spirit, the laying on of hands, and the power of the Holy Spirit often decry the study of eternity and the grace of God in the Bible. They say we only need to know the elementary doctrines of the baptisms of the Holy Spirit and the laying on of hands to attain full maturity as Christians. They believe such doctrines are the lines, precepts, and doctrines of the end-time move of the Spirit.
They are wrong.
They have no scripture on which to stand. The scripture expressly, specifically, and clearly states that these doctrines are milk for babies; these doctrines are not strong meat for the mature. These doctrines of baptisms in the Holy Spirit and the laying on of hands are not the end-time move of the Spirit of Christian maturity.
The eternal whole counsel plan of God in Jesus Christ is seen by seeing into the Heavenly realms and seeing earth from the view of Heaven. The eternal whole counsel plan of God reveals grace and spiritual union in God in Christ and unearths, reveals, and aligns the end-time move of the Spirit.
The end-time move of the Spirit is not going to happen apart from the eternal whole counsel plan of God, a pearl hidden in a field, being unearthed, revealed, and aligned.
The end-time move of the Spirit will reveal God’s Perfect Divine Love and Glory in the Lord Jesus Christ: the Express Image of God the Father being the Brightness of the Glory of God the Father.
